Pressure Vessels are a key component to every major industry on the planet. They perform process critical functions by containing often highly corrosive and toxic materials at extreme pressures and temperatures.

Prime Machine maintains the following industry required certifications as part of its overall quality system.

ASME U Stamp - Manufacture of “code stamped” or "coded" vessels, boilers and piping.

NBBI R Stamp - Repairs and alterations of previously “code stamped” or "coded" vessels, boilers and piping.

The "U" and "R" Stamps mean that all fabrication, manufacture, and repairs are performed in accordance with the requirements of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors (NBBI).

Pressure vessel design and build:

Pressure vessels may theoretically be almost any shape, but shapes made of sections of spheres, cylinders, and cones are the most common, frequently a cylinder with 2:1 semi-elliptical heads or end caps . More complicated shapes have historically been much harder to analyze for safe operation and are usually far more difficult to construct.
